The potential of the individual to add to the power in the universe through creative discovery defined the example of Lyndon LaRouche's life and was the subject of a powerful presentation by Megan Beets and Jason Ross at the Schiller Institute conference November 16, 2019. They opened with a clip of LaRouche asking, “Where does creativity lie? It does not lie in what most people think. It lies in the ability of the living individual, to create states of existence, that is the design of states of existence, to FORECAST what is going to happen. And that’s the most precious thing, for me, to grasp that! That’s everything for me! And that’s what we should hope for.” They reviewed LaRouche’s work with the Basement team, a scientific research group initiated by LaRouche in 2006, and concluded with a discussion of how we must use the method of LaRouche to develop a new generation of creative geniuses, if mankind is to survive.
