February 18, 1995, ICLC Schiller Institute conference. Mr. LaRouche kicked off a two-day open conference which was devoted to mobilizing Americans against the Conservative Revolution associated with Republican politicos Newt Gingrich, the former Speaker of the House of Representatives who was seeking to implement the anti-constitutional plan outlined in his "Contract with America" pamphlet, and Sen. Phil Gramm of Texas, who officially announced his candidacy for President of the United States the week of the conference. The fascist content of that revolution, the qualifications of the LaRouche movement to lead the fight against it, and the consequences of failing to defeat it, were the subject of a series of keynote presentations and panels, followed by a session devoted to open discussion by members of the audience with the panelists. Mr. LaRouche gives a brilliant exploration of universal humanity and the constant problem of the average persons submission to the degraded views of Oligarchy since the early days of civilized mankind around Southwest Asia. Areas of discussion: The menace of the 1990's Conservative Revolution; Cusa and the Brotherhood of the Common Life; Louis the 11th and France as the first Nation-State; universal education; Greek Spartans, the original fascist communists; Macedon, early Empire; what is an Oligarchy; Ancient Southwest Asian civilizations; how usury always causes collapse; British Lord William Rees Mogg; The Mont Pelerin Society; Federal Reserve Chairman Paul Volcker and his policy of Controlled Disintegration; the 90's growth of the cancer of derivatives and other forms of gambling as a mental sickness of society in general; the demographic rise and collapse of ancient civilizations; the fight against Venice; the various religious wars unleashed by Venice; why mankind is not an animal; and where we have to go in order to create a more perfect union among sovereign nation states. Following him is Health Minister Abdul Alim Muhammad of the Nation of Islam speaking on behalf of Minister Louis Farrakhan. Questions are about free trade, to Mr. Muhammad about the NOI statement that white people are devils, can we create a better music education system, why the founding fathers allowed slavery to continue, and what role does sense perception play in education.
