May 27, 1989, NCLC Conference Helga Zepp LaRouche gives a taped briefing on the strategic situation from West Germany. A few months after this conference, in November, the Berlin Wall came down and the DDR East German government went out of existence as LaRouche had forecast in his Kempinski Hotel speech and earlier. At the time of the conference LaRouche and his associates were being railroaded into prison for violating laws that weren't on the books at the time that they were being charged. Then political prisoner Rochelle Ascher who was facing an 89 year prison sentence gives an account of her situation.
