The Canada Files has brought on Regan Boychuk, an Alberta-based political researcher whose studied the oilpatch for 20 years, as Alberta’s Premier plays pretend advocate for Albertans in the face of suggestions of Canadian oil export restrictions if Trump implements 25% tariffs and more on Canada’s economy.

Boychuk argues that Danielle Smith and all but one Alberta Premier since Ernest Manning’s rise to Premier-ship in 1943, have been on board with total subordination to the Rockefellers and the US government (with Canada as a US protectorate), while pretending that their use of Alberta’s oil and gas resources have been in the interest of Albertans.
