Over the past two months, Western intelligence agencies, led by the British, have launched an all out active measures campaign against China's great Belt and Road Initiative. Africa, condemned to perpetual existence as a land of wars and looting by the West, is now undertaking huge and unprecedented infrastructure development programs in conjunction with the Belt and Road. As one aspect of the Western response to the Belt and Road, now fired Secretary of State Rex Tillerson just got back from touring the African continent and sternly warning against collaboration with the Chinese. He offered absolutely nothing to match the new evolving optimism and excitement about the future encompassed in the Belt and Road.

Recently, the Chinese legislature abolished presidential term limits. In the dirty Western narrative, this allows Xi Zinping to become a life long dictator, "like Mao." Nothing could be further from the truth. What are the requirements for a total transformation of a country, like China, in the present strategic geometry? For mobilizing to reach the goal of eliminating poverty reducing and creating a modern and secure infrastructure platform still viable 50 years hence?
