On Sunday, Lyndon LaRouche characterized the military strike by the United States against Syria as a British coup in progress against the President of the United States which must be met by the American population stamping out all British imperial influences in the United States. The American population must come down on this "like a hammer," LaRouche said, if the United States itself is to survive. LaRouche endorsed veteran German statesmen Willy Wimmer’s call for a meeting between Trump and Putin at the earliest possible occasion.
